Wedding law in England and Wales is currently under review, and the proposals being discussed could represent one of the biggest changes to wedding ceremonies in many years.
As a practising Minister and Celebrant, I know there is a great deal of interest in what these changes could mean for couples, celebrants and the wider wedding industry. There is also a lot of information being shared, and it is not always easy to separate confirmed facts from speculation.

My aim is simply to provide clear, balanced and easy-to-understand information. Where changes have been confirmed, I will explain what they mean. Where proposals are still being considered, I will make that clear.
