Thank you very much Jon. Mum was well looked after. Just been thinking of some more stories that have popped into my head. Its very hard to compress 89 years of memories into a 20 minute service. I think we did her proud.

It was so nice when all the planning came together and I think it was an appropriate send off. Many of the guests made comment about your presence in the service and how personal you made it feel.

Thank you for presiding over Mum’s funeral yesterday.

It was a privilege for us, and indeed Mum, that you were able to conduct the service for us.

In some respects it was a shame that there were so few of us in attendance yesterday, but it did mean that it was very intimate and personal, which is what Mum would have liked as she was never one for grand shows and being ostentatious.

Can really recommend Jon Matson- Higgins from the first time I spoke to him on the phone I felt he was the perfect Minister for my husbands funeral and when I met him in person I knew I was right. He was very caring and really made the service special. People watching on the live link said he made them feel a part of the service. I have had lots of comments about how lovely the service was and how special he had made it. Thank you Jon you made a very difficult time easier for me and my family

Just a short note to say a big thank you from all our family for the wonderful service you gave for D. J also wanted us to pass on her thanks when we saw her again yesterday. She said “D would of been proud”. We’ve also had telephone calls from people who were streaming the service, and they have all commented on what a wonderful service it was. J’s sister down on the south coast specifically said she thought the Celebrant did “such a good job”. Thank you.

I have got up this morning and A has brought out the sun for me so I think he was happy with yesterday, also this morning it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I had the best night sleep I have had in a long while.

I feel like I can breathe this morning and I can concentrate on grieving and now start to take next steps about Alan’s sudden death and events from October.

Thank you for helping us organise the funeral and guiding us through the day. The time you spent with Mum really supported her. Your compassion and practical advice prepared her for the day and gave her the assurance that she could get through it.

Yesterday went very well, and it’s a relief to have said goodbye to Auntie S in such a lovely way – thank you for supporting us and for your care and attention given to S.

Now that things have begun to settle, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your help and support following the passing of my dad.

Without doubt, the support and guidance you provided in preparing the service for my dad made a difficult time more bearable, and for that, we will always be grateful.

I am sure that his final send-off and your words on the day would have been all that he would have wished for himself. Your professionalism and compassion were a welcome calm in a storm for which I will always be grateful.

So many people came up to us and said how great you were and how wonderful it was.
