Thank you for your kind words and thank you for your beautiful service yesterday. Dad would have been looking down on us all with pride, We gave him the send off that he deserved.

You are so right about me not having had time to start my grieving process yet but I can now relax a little knowing that he has reunited with his late wife and his parents who he loved dearly.

Everything went smoothly all day for us under your guidance and for that all my family are so grateful. You take care Jon.

Thank you for presiding over Mum’s funeral yesterday.

It was a privilege for us, and indeed Mum, that you were able to conduct the service for us.

In some respects it was a shame that there were so few of us in attendance yesterday, but it did mean that it was very intimate and personal, which is what Mum would have liked as she was never one for grand shows and being ostentatious.

Thank you once again Jon, and I will take on board those words from that ancient Chinese proverb and also your offer of support and guidance.

Can really recommend Jon Matson- Higgins from the first time I spoke to him on the phone I felt he was the perfect Minister for my husbands funeral and when I met him in person I knew I was right. He was very caring and really made the service special. People watching on the live link said he made them feel a part of the service. I have had lots of comments about how lovely the service was and how special he had made it. Thank you Jon you made a very difficult time easier for me and my family

Oh my what a wonderful service ,thankyou so much for all you have done and said. I truly believe dad is happy with my mum now . He has been so lonely without her . You are an amazing person ,so passionate about the job you love and the people you meet . With the collection we raised £230 for Dementia UK. I was so happy with the amount to help for research.

Just a short note to say a big thank you from all our family for the wonderful service you gave for D. J also wanted us to pass on her thanks when we saw her again yesterday. She said “D would of been proud”. We’ve also had telephone calls from people who were streaming the service, and they have all commented on what a wonderful service it was. J’s sister down on the south coast specifically said she thought the Celebrant did “such a good job”. Thank you.

We are so grateful for the beautiful service we had for dad. I certainly felt at ease knowing you had it all in hand. Thank you for the option of recording the poem, I was glad to have been able to be part of the service without the pressure of doing it on the day.

Yesterday went very well, and it’s a relief to have said goodbye to Auntie S in such a lovely way – thank you for supporting us and for your care and attention given to S.

Now that things have begun to settle, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your help and support following the passing of my dad.

Without doubt, the support and guidance you provided in preparing the service for my dad made a difficult time more bearable, and for that, we will always be grateful.

I am sure that his final send-off and your words on the day would have been all that he would have wished for himself. Your professionalism and compassion were a welcome calm in a storm for which I will always be grateful.

So many people came up to us and said how great you were and how wonderful it was.

I felt reassured the whole way and it was highlighting mums best moments perfectly and in her best ways.

Thank you for your wonderful service. The eulogy you delivered was beautiful, many folk spoke to me at the wake were most overcome by your words. Strange after the service I felt a sense of peace, knowing that T would be at peace. So a massive and sincere thank you
