Jon was absolutely wonderful as the celebrant for my grandmother’s funeral. From the moment I met him, I felt an instant warmth and connection. He has such a lovely personality — the kind that naturally makes you smile and even brings a little laughter during what is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult and emotional times in life. His gentle, compassionate and reassuring manner made me and my family feel completely at ease. He took the time to listen, understand what my grandmother meant to us, and made the service feel truly personal and special. It was clear that he genuinely cared, and that meant so much to all of us. Jon delivered the service with such professionalism, warmth and sincerity. He helped us say goodbye to someone we loved dearly in a way that felt beautiful, meaningful and very true to her. My whole family warmed to Jon and we cannot thank him enough for the care and kindness he showed us. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a celebrant. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Jon again for any future family occasions, and I will certainly be recommending him to my friends and family. Thank you, Jon, for helping us through such a difficult day and for giving my grandmother the beautiful farewell she deserved.

Jon was absolutely brilliant for my father’s funeral yesterday (18th May 2026). He treated the service with dignity and respect and looked after me the whole time and made sure I knew where to stand and where to go as I hadn’t done a funeral before. He was very quick with getting the eulogy back to me and it was perfect the first time even with it being the bank holiday weekend. He was very informative and helpful with everything. I do truly recommend him. Thank you for everything Jon from me and my family. 🤍

My daughters and I are profoundly grateful for the guidance throughout the planning process and during the funeral itself. We found the personal touches added to the service very special and totally appropriate.Our guests commented on the respect and dignity shown to everyone involved. I would highly recommend Jon Matson-Higgins My Mum( Stella's) recent Funeral was the perfect dignified beautiful send off. Jon was the re-assuring calming voice throughout who delivered a Caring, Calming words slowly & with percision. Was also attentative to Mum & went up to casket and whispered words to her while the music was playing. Not beign a religious family Jon conducted & delivered a beautiful service in a way even Mum would of been proud off. I cannot thank Jon enough from Dad, myself & the rest of my Family to helping all of us in the final goodbye to our beloved wife,Mother,Grandmother& Great Grandmother. He was very caring and really made the service special. People watching on the live link said he made them feel a part of the service.
