I am writing to say a heartfelt thank you for the service you conducted for J last Friday, you put everyone at ease, and your calming voice really helped, the part where you spoke over the music was really nice, and every time we see a rainbow now we will think of our J, once again thank you from B, myself and the rest of our family.

I would like to say on behalf of my Mum and Brother thank you for giving my dad the best service we could have hoped for, you were kind, and thoughtful in your words and actions and made an unbearable day bearable.

Thank you for making Mum’s funeral service the best it could be. It really represented her as a person and we couldn’t have wished for more. You would have been the person Mum would have picked to take the service if she could have chosen herself.

Thank you for caring so much about us all and the little touch of the knitted hearts, this really meant a lot especially to the kids.

We’ve just got to navigate this grief journey now without Mum which will take some time but we have some comfort knowing she is now at peace.

I think Mum would have been happy with her service.

Thank you so much for giving Mum such a beautiful send off. We partied the night away, just as she would have liked, she always enjoyed a good hoolie with everyone! It was a fitting tribute to her.

Thank you so much for the service yesterday and your kind words. It is so true that there is so much to do and organise initially after Dads passing that it is now time for us to have the quieter days to remember him more.

Everyone said what a lovely service it was yesterday and how it didn’t feel somber but there was humour and great memories and for that I am very grateful.

Thank you so much for a wonderful service, which was very fitting for Mum.

You can never imagine how the service will be beforehand and you made it a great tribute to Mum.

Everything was perfect for Mum and that is all I wanted for her.

I spoke to all of the congregation last week and they were all very enthusiastic about the delivery of a humanist ceremony, and loved your presentation technique, which was extremely professional but totally non obtrusive.

It is a shame you missed the cream tea, which turned the day around from sad reflection to one of muted jolliness. I think the prosecco might have helped here!
